University of Liverpool Online Masters

University of Liverpool Online Masters review

I will be reviewing the University of Liverpool to have a look at its online masters programmes, which are evidently rather popular nowadays. I'm including the time and date I wrote this so that it'll be as current as possible: 9th May 08. Apparently, according to my research there is no online degree programme at the undergraduate level for the University of Liverpool but there are many masters programmes and MBAs at the University of Liverpool instead. Hence, anyone looking for masters programmes and MBAs online might want to have a look at the University of Liverpool's online masters schemes, especially since there are many good reasons to do so:

Accredited programme by the QAA, which according to worldwidelearn.com is the regulatory and monitoring body which adminsters the accreditation for UK universities, including Liverpool.

Top 10 institutions in the world for online education and for indeed one of the better universities in England for that matter

Excellent teaching and relevant skills tranfer, as can be found out by looking at their programme and their website, and also an individual support system where you can make the attention of a dedicated personal programme manager for your course

There is apparently a personalisation of the course where you can choose projects while studying for the University of Liverpool's online masters

Stringent, high quality admissions mean that you get to put your brains to the test with the best and brightest online students throughout the world and get an excellent education at the University of Liverpool, with high interactivity among students who are professionals in their own respective fields

There is of course the usual online flexibility of studying for a degree online, naturally, and the University of Liverpool offers pauses between assignments to fit your personal schedule

Well, in my idea, this would be a good university to look for regarding online studies and masters programmes. With a bachelors degree, some working experience (two years according to their website) and English language skills - and of course a connection to the Internet - this would be a good choice if one were to think about it. However, it's my personal opinion that IT is the main field for the University of Liverpool's online masters and MSCs, as IT is the University of Liverpool's main offering currently. That is not to say that the MBA, public health degree, operations and supply chain management, etc are not good masters to go on, but that I would consider the University of Liverpool seriously for IT and less for other related subjects, unless I find that there are no other good universities offering those subjects. That is to say, without further research done on other subjects, IT would be the main draw to the University of Liverpool.

Just as in my other posts on other universities, they seem to have strengths in other fields as well... ... .... just to test who's been reading this, which online university has good distance learning programmes for law? :)

Stay tuned for more analyses regarding various universities and online programmes, and make the decisions for yourself based on some basic understanding and indepth research into the institutions themselves. I would recommend the University of Liverpool rather strongly based on my research. Don't take my word on it!
